Cape Coral is a very pretty city located in sunny, southwest Florida on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. Just west of Fort Myers, Cape Coral has hundreds of miles of gorgeous deep-blue canals flowing into the Caloosahatchee River and the Gulf of Mexico. It is one of the largest waterfront communities, as well as one of the fastest growing cities in the state of Florida. The popular shelling beaches of Captiva and Sanibel Islands are just minutes away, and several local and state parks offer fishing, boating, swimming and snorkelling. Hiking, biking and tennis are also available in the Cape Coral area. The city of Cape Coral is home to a children's science centre, as well as a fun, family water park. Several special events are held here throughout the year, including the annual Festival of the Arts, usually held in January, plus an Oktoberfest in the fall. The beautiful beaches of Fort Myers are just minutes away, and the Florida Everglades is approximately an hour's drive from Cape Coral.

Additional Information:
The house has got a fantastic southerly exposition (you can enjoy the sun on the terrace from morning to late in the evening but there is always a pleasant shade to find on the terrace). You will find the way to the house easily as it is located at a quiet side road of the Cape Corel Parkway in the southeast of Cape Coral. The local area has a wide variety of shops and excellent supermarkets within only a 2 to 5 minute drive making self catering a pleasure and not a chore. If you prefer to eat out you will find within a mile of the house a range of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. If you drive away from the resort area you are soon in quiet Florida countryside famous for its orange groves and cattle ranches. You can get to the airport within 30 minutes driving. Many "fantastic" golf courses are located in the immediate vicinity, the nearest golf course is only a 5 minute drive away.
